Aircraft Recognition Silhouette Cards, US Naval Aviation Training Division 1942 OV-1This is a WWII era instructional aid for US Navy service men used to train on the recognition of aircraft of the Allies and Axis Air Forces in the European Theater. Judging from the accompanying instructions, this kit was reproduced by the US Navy from the original concept from the British Royal Air Force. Publication dated is April 1942. Included in the kit are: Four playing card decks, (Red, Blue, Green, Orange) each containing 53 silhouette cards.
